Nostalgia

Yesterday I saw this word appearing in my MSN's contacts title, althoug I asked her about it and she replied, this is what I got from the answer.com:

n.
  1. A bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past.
  2. The condition of being homesick; homesickness.
Glad that I learn a new english word~

I know some of you will be going like: 'What, you don't know that word Edward?' I normal responce would be: 'I have bad English, I went to Chinese school, don't bully me~' (Inspired by Brucg Lee)

It's a mixed feeling though, people like me, who called themself Chinese, born in a mixed cuture country, went to Chinese School, have some non-chinese friends, graduated from aEnglish University, borned in a High Tech Era, type in English, speak Chinese, write faster in English, can not afford to failed Bahasa Malaysia, study 2 version of History (in 2 languages), has the choice of watching 3 different language of TV News (7pm, 8pm or 9pm?), and now I am confused... Are we having competitive advantages or simply unlucky??
