For almost the same price (even running the same software), which one would you prefer to have on your desktop?

The next SuccessTALK series coming up after NSC2008...

Photo of 2nd Session of SuccessTALK - M120 by Tan on 26/04/2008...

The pay up is 16 and the turn up is again healthy at 24... Partly thanks to the Ticketing Manager Mr Manson...

Consider this is the 1st time Tan is doing a Public Speaking, the performance is not bad.

I forgot to train Tan on how to use the Laser Pointer, so we have some hiccup during presentation, haha..

Some thought that developed over time..

I always believe that it takes the excellence from both worlds to make a business success, and the worlds I am referring to are:

1. Scientific World.
2. Artistic World.

You can check out the video below which high-lighted once again, Steve Ballmer from Microsoft is under attack from mutual public, at this case, a Radio Host, that Microsoft can not cope with the up and coming popularity and preference over their competitor products or, in particular, their OS.

The truth is, Microsoft has worked out the 'Science' in business management long time ago, they are doing the practical things right, but they failed to catch up on the 'Art' part of the game. Whereas Apple on the other hand, started up being good in the 'Art' but lack of 'Science' has failed them in capturing the huge Computer market, but eventually the 'Artists' at Apple has realised this and work hard on the 'Science' and they are on the right track now... You can see this in their intel-based microprocessor and Bootcamp comes standard in all Mac which allow them to run Windows, reducing heaviy on all pricing of mac.

If I am gonna invest another RM3,500 on a new notebook, I dont see any reason why not to get the MacBook from Apple which run both MacOS and Windows, besides they look great and prettier than any other brands of notebook which runs only Windows. i have less Virus, I can do EVERYTHING without installing any additional software or drivers. And once I started to get use to the MacOS, I cant find much excuse to go back to Vista...

As in PM business, the reason why some agent dont succeed in pursuing their dreams is that, they are either too 'Science' about the business or too 'Art' about it, they failed to strike the balance. Because if you failed to do a impressive presentatnion (the Art) but focus too much on delivering the details (the Science), which the prospect may need much more time in understanding them, you lose the sales. On the other hand if you do not have much product knowledge but good in PR, typically refer to salesman from other industry like Car Seller, too good at the 'Art' side but ack of 'Science', you will end up getting suspecious rejection from your prospect.

Dont take my words now, try it yourself and see. :-)

My next Business Phone for my Business Line...

Finally after a long wait, I see some new design coming out from Palm, this is Palm Centro, to me, this is still the best Business Phone you can get on earth... (For Leisure/Designer Phone, you should get an iPhone...)

Palm Centro next to a Blackberry. Blackberry obvious lack out to Palm Centro is a touch screen and ease of use. How ever for connectivity like 3G Blackberry has the obvious victory.

Palm Centro next to a Palm Treo 680, which I was so tempted to buy one few months ago...
