Bump into one of my secondary school teachers today, the one who I have approached before for him to start an UT account. Years ago he had so much to say about UT, can't really remember what he said (luckily I forgot, otherwise he may have more things I write here to hate about in many years to come) but definitely not good things about it and that he would not buy into this kinda scheme.

Today the first thing he said was:

'So, how was business?'

Err.. actually I get this kinda question a lot, I mean, really a lot. The thing about this question is, that some people ask with sincerity, like they really care about your survivorship in this business, and I love it when it it in this case, because it would probably end up me spending him a good lunch and a good chat which will make my day. Unfortunately, this guy is the other case, he asked the question then he expect you to say something like:

'Oh no, business is sucks man, I can not even survive...'

so that he will be more 'balanced' in his heart because you got to admit this, how many people like him, who is born with a silver spoon, who will automatically get employed as soon as he finished his degree (if he did at all), who will slot into one of the important positions in a company which is run by his own family.

How many people like him will be OK with the fact that people like US (I mean all those young and young at heart, hard working human who come from a not so easy childhood, who work hard the way through by Direct-Selling, Network Marketing, Insurance, Unit Trust, etc. By investing their Blood and Sweat and finally getting their very own Success, by their bare hands) can and are making better income and/or living a better lifestyle than him?

As a salesperson with little as 5 years selling experienced I quickly pick up that negativity so I tune down and replied:

'Well.. it's not as good as 2007 but it's as good as 2006, ok lah'

I was thinking that this could be the best answer I can give which will give him that 'balance' he was looking for and at the same time I need not to lie and still sounds good enough.

But obviously that was not the answer he was looking for. He made a big mistake by responding like this:

'That means you are not working hard enough lah, people like me also finally buy now, and you say business not so good? This is the best time to buy you know, that means you are not doing a good job...'

Bla bla bla... he goes... trying hard to educate me that I need to work harder and I am not as good as I am... STOP.

Hello mister, I don't care how good you are in knowledge about investment, let alone Unit Trust. And I don't care how good you are in your own business.

I do know this, I work with my own hands, in my own working hours. I may not be as lucky as you are, but in terms of Success and Productivity, you are a HUGE loser, because even if your revenue last year has more than RM12millions (which only made you on par with me), please remember I use not more than RM4,800 Car Petrol and RM3,600 Mobile Phone and others maintenance cost to get that RM12millions. What about you Loser?? How much is your factory which your daddy leave it to you to proof that you are at least useful to the family business? Huh?

By the way Mister, I thought I could have share my little Success with you like a friend who made their way through survivorship in business, you know people like us is getting harder and harder to get REAL friends around us, but instead, you end up in my Loser List in this blog. Congratulations for being the 2nd Loser in my life!

Oh I forgot to let you know Mister, remember the design I passed to you for your product packaging, that was my 2 days hard work using a software program which I was not familiar with, you were supposed to use it and pay me RM200, but never mind, I am watching if the design has been used by your esteem company because it really is my hard work you know. It is not easy to design a package which mimic so closely to your competitors yet not getting into trouble like copyright infringement you know.

But my words of advise, I think it is better that you build your own quality product to gain your very personal fame. We have enough pirated DVD in the market, little things we do here to promote ORIGINALITY will finally help to change the world to a better place, don't you think?

Opps, I started to sounds like you liao, better don't spend too much time talking to you otherwise I might end up like you, trying to be expert in front of another expert. Oppps again...

Finally I am sorry to say all these in here, you left in a hurry that day after throwing me words of 'advises' I did not even have time te reflect onwhat you said. I just got to say it here lah my friend.

I hope one day you really excel in your career, with your own hands. Then we can sit together on the same table and talk until the cow comes home. Bye!

DCM account has been hacked!

Few months ago when I was trying to submit some of my photos to Digital Camera Malaysia (DCM), I read the Malaysian Editor page on the first page of the magazine, in a slightly worrying tone, he was asking readers to delete DCM email address from their contact list in their computer. I was wondering why...

Few days ago I receoved this email from DCM, obviously it is not sent from DCM themselve. This is an email sent by the person who has successfully hacked DCM Email Server, and changed the Administrator password somemore, they send this email to, maybe, all emails listed on the server, including me.

Hows that?

Don't Invest - Amendments 20081006

This is to amend onto my previous post here.

Don't Invest

1. It's not the right time, Economy is in the toilet, Politicians are fighting against each other.
2. If you don't care about how to fund your Children Education.
3. If you are the Banker.
4. If you are too busy to count your money.
5. If you don't have a clue what is Inflation Rate.
6. If you think EPF can fund your Retirement Years.
7. If you don't think you can live up to 75 years old, at least.
8. If you think FD is really a Fixed Deposits paying you 3.7% per year.
9. If there is always a better time later to think about this.
10. If you don't have at least RM1,000 cash, you can't anyway even if you want.
11. More to come... Anyone wants to help out here?

13. If you always go to Las Vegas & win big money.
14. If you obtain inheritance that make you don't have to work anymore.
15. If you become the next winner of "Survivor".
16. If you can save RM 49.90 daily under your bed since you start to work at age 20 till 75 regardless of what happen, coz u have 1 Million to retire at 75.

18. If you do not understand why KWSP provide you a EPF Members' Investment Scheme since 1996.
