Mushroom Studios - The Art of Photography

The Original.

The B&W.

The Most Symitrical Face in the world... :-)

Mushroom Studios - C-41 versus E-6 Cross Processing...

C-41 is the name for the Photo Processing Method for our everyday film...

E-6 is the name for the Photo Processing Method for a Slide Film...

Cross Processing, literaly means, taking a Slide Film and developed it, instead of using E-6, you cross processed it using C-41...

...and the result will be higher contrast, deeper saturation and some artistic color casting, etc...

The Art of Photography

Apart from getting a expensive DSLR, photographers should spend some time to master the Art of Photography, that is the essence of being a Photographer, not just a Camera Man...

The original.

Techniques of Dodging, Burning and Soft Focus applied. You can do all this in a Traditional Darkroom or Digital Darkroom (such as Photoshop).

The Original.

Dodging around cheeks area, Burning around 4 corners of photo plus lips and Soft Focus applied overall...

The Original.

Increased Contrast, Dodging around Cheeks, Teeth and Eyes, Soft Focus on Backgroud to bring back the attention to the Potrait.

The Original.

Soft Focus is the main key to this Photo, thus create the 'Romantic' atmosphere, Contrast is also increased to decrease the oily face...
