Have you ever wonder why is there so many Camera Man these days? I came out with my analysis followed:
- Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) is dirt cheap. A entry level DSLR is almost the same price as a High End Compacts, while DSLR offer user the flexibility to expand their system as they develope the hobby.
- DSLR has take away the huge running cost of buying film and having your photo developed at the lab, whether or not you like the photos because you cant see it.
- Photography Magazines are much cheaper now as the used to be expensive foreign magazines are running local prints.
- Internets sharing experience has help Camera Man to create a huge community which in turns, promote the hobby massively.
- Anymore anyone?

well, i agree with you that it is really dirt cheap for some entry level DSLR.
on the other hand, ppl are starting to think that they want a good photo. It is frustrated when taking picture especially at dinner function where the photos tend to get its either more flash or out of sync when using compact camera.
and where internet as their bible to explore on photography platform is such plus for those newbie.
